Who is Eligible?

Your child may be eligible for free school meals if you receive any of the following:

• Income Support
• Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• The guaranteed element of Pension Credit
• Child Tax Credit (with an annual income of no more than £16,190)
• Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
• Universal Credit (with an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400)

How to Apply

Applying for free school meals is simple and can be done online. Follow these steps:

• Visit the Application Website: Click here
• Submit Your Application: Once you have filled in all the required fields, submit your application.
• If you were previously on FSM at your primary school you will not need to re-apply
